Nature Playgroup
Monday 9.30 - 11.30am
Schuster Park, Tallebudgera
Under 4 years

Families and children come together to connect and fill their wellbeing bucket. Play, exploration and learning in nature in all weather.

Families come along to enjoy the slower pace and opportunity to connect with their child through authentic nature experiences. Our playgroup provides opportunities for children to engage in deep play and nature immersion which fosters growth in body, mind and spirit.
The flow of the session is centred on the ideas and curiosities that arise from children’s interests as the program is child led and inquiry based. The playgroup session provides an opportunity for children to enjoy nature based unstructured free play. It’s a time for children to be adventurous, gain independence and confidence. Nature play fosters appreciation and respect of our natural world and our little ones become nature warriors!
Families and carers are responsible for their own children, to supervise and interact. Our play mentors facilitate the session to provide a space and time for families to connect with one another through play and connect with nature. Mentors will set up some additional nature play experiences for families to explore and discover together in a slow paced supportive environment and together families can enjoy nature craft, adventurous play, mud play, imaginative play, bush exploration and walks and so much more.

Through playgroup, families are able to connect with like minded families in the local community, build lasting friendships and enjoy the social aspect that Playgroup offers. It’s a time to connect and support each other in raising our nature babes. It is an nature play program that prioritises wellbeing and nurtures relationships and the wonderous journey of parenthood.
